I’m pleased to announce several opportunities for individual mentorships for beginning photographers in 2011. Mentorships are 8 hours of in-person, custom-designed instruction to teach up-and-coming photographers what YOU need to know to get started with a successful business. For a typical day of instruction, topics may include, but are not limited to:
getting off of auto: learning how to confidently work your camera in manual
learning how to work in the great outdoors: the challenge of natural light, outdoor photography
post processing of images in Lightroom and Photoshop
marketing and selling techniques
products and services for the boutique photographer
A portfolio review is included with each mentorship, as well as up to 2 hours of post-session phone or email support and guidance. A yummy lunch and/or dinner is provided, as well as snacks and coffee and drinks. :)
Should two photographers with similar abilities like to learn together, I’d be glad to customize the instruction for both of you and offer you a 15% discount on your tuition. Similarly, a small-group workshop consisting of four or five photographers with similar abilities may also be considered for a 20% discounted tuition rate.
My studio is located approximately one hour from the Philadelphia airport, and just 2-3 hours by car from New York City, Washington D.C., and Baltimore. Hotel and transportation to and from my studio is not included in the tuition rate, but I am glad to assist you with those accommodations. (I would also consider traveling to you–expenses paid, of course. :)
Please contact me at jennifer@jenniferbretonphotography.com or at 610.223.9700 for tuition rates and further information. In your email, please be sure to note any relevant information, such as your website address (or Flickr or Facebook page) and what your goals are for the workshop.
Consideration is only given to those photographers or aspiring photographers who live outside of my client market.
I look forward to hearing from you!
Jen
