Hide it when you park your car. Mine was stolen tonight in daylight a few feet from where we were eating dinner at the mall. Sadly, our hostess’ was gone, too. Wyomissing Police told us that they’re responding to GPS theft daily.
We’re feeling quite violated, yet also lucky that was all that was stolen. If my little PSA will help prevent it from happening to one of my blog readers–especially because I know a lot of us on-location photogs can’t live without our GPSes–all the better.

No matter how exasperated he seems, I think he misses his sister and brother. (Mommy, too. :)
My client is getting two of her single image ribbon collages today, and I so love how they turned out that I couldn’t resist snapping a few pictures. (As an aside, my daughter, showing her newly-found-exasperation-with-her-mother said, “Mom. Taking pictures of pictures?”
*sigh* I was so not expecting this at seven…)

Aren’t they cute? Clients get to choose their ribbon and the collage design. They’re so much fun for kids’ rooms, nurseries (especially a set of three above the crib or changing table) and as finishing pieces for those nooks around the house.
I guess I need to go take them down off my wall now, put my usual pictures back up, and get them all wrapped up and ready to leave for their new home. They do look so perfect hanging in that spot, don’t they? I’m sure they’ll look even better in the house where the kids actually live, LOL. :)
Delivered on Monday, beckoning from my dining room table since… I finally get to open it tonight. :)

The August issue of Parenting which has my winning photo of Isaac at 9 months. Mine was chosen as the winner in the 0-11 month category. There were 4 other winners for each age category (1-5 years) chosen by Parenting photo editors out of more than 17,000 entries. I even got a cool Canon camera as a prize (hey, I realize I’ve got lots of pro-grade photo gear, but it’s great to finally have a camera I can throw in my purse!)
