I’ve had my share of people reserve their session dates a few months in advance (which is awesome, and always recommended by the way :), but never before have I had a person reserve a session date almost a year in advance like their mom did. I must tell you that the wait was absolutely worth it–what a kind and warm family, with simply gorgeous kids to boot! (And although I love all of these, I captured a new favorite–I *heart* the sunflower shot! What a perfectly “August” picture!)

…And since mom seems to like B&Ws, here’s one with a little added “film” grain. I loved how it gave it just the right touch of character.
