Yeah, I know I have. As Miss Kaylee reminded me this morning, they’re by far one of my most challenging ages, quickly and swiftly losing interest in me. They’ve got an agenda all their own, and the legs to to take them wherever they want to go. Knock-knock jokes don’t keep them entertained, and songs get quickly boring. Often, they make me feel like the uncoolest adult in the world as I go on chase to photograph them, quickly discovering just how out of shape I am, and just how slowly my lens takes to focus.
Yet, despite all that, they remain one of my most favorite ages to photograph. It’s like suddenly at 2, God fills up these little ones with personality and charm, making it impossible to resist their unique “two-ness.”
