I worked with this family almost exactly a year ago, who just added a beautiful baby boy to their brood. (on a gigantic tangent, my 9th grade English teacher would be so thrilled with that alliteration ;) ) From the moment of the first phone call several months ago, mom explained that she was really hoping for a shot of her new baby with his bum up in the air. I replied that I would make it a priority.
Baby Tyler was awesome for me, but it seemed that every moment that he let out one of the adorable little baby smiles in his sleep, I was busy positioning him, and my camera was not in hand. So you can only imagine my luck and sheer delight when he finally smiled as I had him in the position that his mom wanted so badly.

Is getting to spend the day photographing (and snuggling) little beautiful babes like this.

Welcome Lilly! Congrats J&N!
Sub-zero temperatures? Check. Rain? Check. Extreme wind? Check. Tornado threat? Yep, even that one.
Although I don’t have to reschedule sessions *that* frequently due to poor weather conditions, it’s was almost laughable how it seemed this family was just set up for the worst weather on the day of our session, and then our rescheduled session, and the one after that, and… Thankfully, Mother Nature decided to give them a break (saving the rain for today) and we met yesterday, on what was one of the nicest and warmest days this year.
Though, I gotta tell you, I had an umbrella stored next to my appointment calendar in my car just in case the meteorologist was wrong. ;)
Just a few for now…
