I was a little nervous headed into today’s session. While my most favorite age to photograph is toddlers, 18 month olds can sometimes be challenging. They’ve learned to run, they do not like being put places and asked to sit, there’s generally no reasoning with them, and typically, they could care less about me.
Today was no exception. Well, except that there wasn’t just one 18 month old, but two. Twins! Boys at that. Yikes.
Even though I think that their parents are as nervous seeing the results of the session as I was headed into it, I knew by the time I had wrapped that we had some awesome shots of them by themselves and as a family. None taken sitting still, of course, but hey, when was life with 18 month old twin boys ever spent sitting still?
Next time, I’ll take triplets! ;)

Update 3/30: These dates have all been booked–thank you! I have no further April appointments, only one remaining appointment in May, and just opened my June calendar. Please plan to give me a call soon if you’re planning a summer session.
As always, thanks!

I gotta admit that I have a terrible soft spot for portraits of serious babies with big, beautiful eyes.

*happy sigh*
This morning started out pretty chilly as I took Amy & Jimmy into Reading for an e-shoot. At this point, it’d be very cliche of me to tell you how they heated things up, so I’ll avoid the cheese and just jump right into the images… :)

Mike of Ash Imagery, my wedding assistant, came along. It’s always so much fun and inspiring working with him. I’m sure he’ll have some killer images up on his blog soon.
Thanks Jimmy & Amy! You guys were awesome and I can’t wait for your big day in a month. Best wishes with your final preparations!
Apparently, at 10 p.m. on a weekend night, I am out of good ideas for titles and ripping myself off from the day before. :)
At just days away from her due date, doesn’t she have just the most beautiful and perfect belly? If you’re curious as to why, some might say it’s because of the three aerobic classes she still teaches weekly (and trust me, I know they’re not easy as I’ve taken them before!)
My warmest congrats to you, A&G! I know that your girls are going to be such wonderful and loving big sisters. Blessings to your newly-expanding family and much joy when little Isabella makes her arrival!

Seriously, I looked THIS pregnant about when the positive test came back. Can you believe she’s 34 weeks? I can’t wait to find out how tiny her little baby is when he or she is born.
Congrats in advance, D&M! Thanks for the coffee, the awesome session, your trust, and best wishes for an easy and uneventful L&D. See you in a few weeks when your baby’s born! :)

And I’m attributing that to the reason why I love this picture so much. I think he looks like a little koala on his mom’s arm, and her so protective of him, and him so protective of her.

And one more for now… :)
