And I thought I had done it all… | Lancaster County Newborn & Twin Photographer

Going into my third year of business, I thought I had photographed most everything “portrait-worthy” at least once: headshots, weddings, families, large groups, older kids, younger kids, animals, babies… (Well, the one thing that does stick out to me is that I’ve never photographed a birth, which I would like to do, but logistically, I can’t figure out how to be “on call.”) Anyway, other than a birth, believe it or not, I have never photographed newborn twins–until yesterday.

Meet Nolan & Alivia. Just beautiful and adorable babies, and doing so, so well for being 5 weeks premature. Congrats J&J on your double blessing!

1 degree (of separation) | Reading & Berks County Baby Photographer

Seems an appropriate title considering the frigid temps lately, but also because her mom and I were surprised to find out how interconnected we are with my husband playing basketball for her father in law back in high school, and one of my best friends watching her daughter, among other connections.

Clearly, there are no degrees of separation between Miss T and adorableness.

P.S. Me to Kevin Bacon? 3 degrees.

If saying boys are beautiful is wrong… | Chester County Newborn Photographer

…well, hopefully his dad won’t mind too much that I think his son absolutely is. :)

Welcome baby Trent! Isn’t he one of the most beautiful baby boys you have ever seen?

Are you all ears? What I did over my winter vacation… | Reading & Berks County Children’s Photographer

*groan* Starting the first post of 2009 with a really, really bad joke is probably not the best thing to welcome everyone to the New Year, but well, too late. :) The answer to the aforementioned bad joke is that we went to Disney World! And, if you can believe it, it was the first time for all of us–me and my husband included. (Yeah, seriously. :)

Needless to say, it was just an absolutely magical time.

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and a blessed New Year! I will be back to posting sessions again in a few days–lots of fresh 2009 babies making their appearances this month.
