Holiday sessions, week #3 (part I) | Reading & Berks County Family Photographer

I had an ambitious week last week with a dozen sessions scheduled. Sadly, half of them had to be postponed due to Mother Nature throwing, um, every kind of bad photography weather at me and my clients. If it was warm, it was ridiculously windy or raining; and if it was not windy or raining, it was freezing cold. Anyway, thankfully we’ll be getting the remaining sessions completed this upcoming week when it turns a little bit more seasonal.

(Did I mention I’m going to Florida in January? I have threatened not to return until May. :)

The family above traveled 2½ hours from the Poconos to have their portrait taken. When we were discussing some ideas for their session, they mentioned that they enjoyed doing outdoor activities, and particularly enjoyed canoeing. So, since it’s not everyday that I get a request for family pictures with a canoe… (By the way, we did put it in the water, too. :)

Holiday sessions, week #2 (or thereabouts…) | Reading & Berks County Family Photographer

Sorry again for my lack of blogging–I am trying to keep right on top of my proofing to make sure everyone gets their proofs in a timely manner for holiday orders, and as a result, blogging has taken a bit of a backseat. Even though this is my most busy month, I truly love being able to meet all of these kids and their families, as well as exploring the amazing fall color. :)

Long time, no blog: Holiday sessions weekend #1 | Reading & Berks County Family Photographer

Bridgette informed me I had fallen to the bottom of her blogroll, which I actually felt a little bit embarrassed about, like I turned into a blog slacker. Never fear, I have been hard at work, fervently proofing, and starting my busy season, which is otherwise known as the holiday mini session. (Thank goodness for the extra hour this past weekend. Do you think it would be too much to ask the government to do an extra week? ;)

Anyway, here are three of my mini sessions from this past weekend. Enjoy!
