Because I have exciting news (to be announced tomorrow–and no, I’m not pregnant, LOL), I got to Baby Ashlan’s session an hour later than I had planned to, and missed most of the window of opportunity I needed to work with her while she was in a deep sleep. About half an hour after our session started, she woke up, and decided to nurse until I packed up and headed home at dinner time (and then, I’m sure, promptly slept soundly for the next several hours!) Anyway, I’ll be going back on Thursday to get a few more images of her, but I know her parents wanted to catch a glimpse of her beautifulicous chub on the blog. I love me a good 9+ pound babe: They’re like one of my own. :)

My website, blog and email were away for most of the weekend, apparently at the Jersey shore celebrating the holiday. (Or maybe that was the IT techs who were supposed to be fixing it, not that I’m grouchy about the time it took to be fixed or anything…)
I think my website and email has been temperamental since Friday, and I fear that the company I host with may have lost information because I had posted the entry on my blog below on Saturday (when things were momentarily working) and it was gone this morning. Further, I had made a change on my website on Saturday, which was also undone this morning. I will be going through my email first thing this morning up until I have to leave for a session this afternoon. Should you not hear from me by this evening, you may want to assume that I didn’t receive your email.
Thanks for your understanding in case I did miss something from you.
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

I wonder if Photoshop has a “delete bugs” action? Seriously, there were a million out tonight. Nevertheless, in between swatting and shooing them away, I managed a few beauties of beauties, don’tcha think? :)
They are one of my most favorite families to work with, and their kids just getting more and more beautiful each time I see them. I love seeing my clients grow. Love it.
For unexplainable reasons, this may be one of my most favorite images, ever. And even though I’m such a color girl, I adore the simplicity in B&W.

This session, however, was really to mark her fourth birthday.
